Under 11s Blacks - National Champions

A massive well done to our Under 11s Blacks who were recently crowned the best under 11s team in the JPL. After an excellent season under the guidance of Manager Coel Young these boys stepped up one last time as they made the long but very worthwhile trip to St Georges park as they participated in a 3 way final which would ultimately determine the overall winner. The format was 2 x 40minute games which of course brings its own challenges. After a 1-1 draw in the first game where they conceded a late equaliser the boys went out and showed what they are all about as they beat the best team from London 2-0 to pick up the winners trophy. Coel has been assisted by Dave Pryde (yellows manager) and Koree Simpson in coaching the boys this year and the results and performances speak volumes about the entire group as the Yellows have also been competing in the top competitions as well.
