One such remarkable talent is Evan Ferguson, whose young career exemplifies the potential pathways available through dedication and participation in interleague football.
Evan Ferguson: From Local Beginnings to International Stardom

Interleague Success: Evan started his football journey with St Kevin's Boys in Dublin. He represented the DDSL and won the Kennedy Cup in 2018, beating our own KDUL 4-2 in the final.
Senior Debut: He then progressed to Bohemian FC, making his senior debut at just 14 years old in a friendly against Chelsea in 2019.
Premier League: In 2021, Evan joined Brighton & Hove Albion. He made an immediate impact, becoming the youngest Irish player to score in the Premier League at 18. His performances earned him a loan move to West Ham United in February 2025, where he continues to develop his skills.
- International Career: Evan's talent has been recognized on the international stage, earning multiple caps and contributing significantly to the Republic of Ireland's national team.
