Coaches Code of Conduct
- I will use my position to set a positive example to those I am responsible for.
- I will show respect to all those that are involved in football including match officials, opposition players and coaches and spectators.
- I will adhere to the laws and the spirit of the game
- I will promote fair play and high standards of behaviour. Including not using bad language around the players.
- I will never enter the field of play without referee’s permission.
- I will never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting language or behaviour
- I will be gracious in victory and defeat. Remember clubs policy of “Development over Results”
- I will place the well-being, safety and enjoyment of each player above everything, including winning.
- I will never engage in or tolerate any form of bullying
- I Will encourage each player to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance
- Ensure all activities I organise are appropriate for the players ability level, age and maturity.
- I will co-operate fully with others in football, including CWO, Officials etc for the best interests of the player.
- I understand I may be required to meet with the club, league or county welfare officer if don’t follow the code.
- I understand I may be suspended from attending matches or training if I don’t follow the code
- I understand I may be suspended or fined by the county FA if I don’t follow the code
- I understand I maybe asked to leave of be sacked by the club if I don’t follow the code.
- I understand that points 13 to 16 may also end with my football licence being withdrawn.
