Southern Enduro Round 2 Report

John Mapley travelled to round 2 of the Southern Enduro located in Milland, West Sussex last weekend. 

 About 10 hours of persistent rain falling before the event it made for a mud bath.  With 2 hours practice available in the morning to get a couple of runs in on the 5 stages it gave a chance for riders to try and memorise the 5 courses.

Racing proceeded from 1130 with riders put in small groups which they set off every 30 seconds to head to the top of the stages, Each rider got 1 timed run on each of the 5 stages and your cumulative time gave you your overall positions.

 After 5 muddy runs & catching the rider in front on stage 3, John finished with a time of 5min 6sec placing him 9th in masters out of 33 and 40th overall out of 296 riders.
