Girls U13's - Cov City blues

The u12s played Cov city in their first game at their new home. Despite playing a team from the division above, and with 4 players making their full debuts, Stockton held their own. 

The visitors went into half time with  a 1-0 lead, after we were unlucky to have an equaliser chalked off for offside. 

After half time the pressure that we put their defence under paid off, and Alyssia finished smartly to make it 1-1. 

Cov scored 4 goals in quick succession in the second half, after an injury to our new keeper Robyn. Freya bravely stepped in and was unfortunate to concede.

All of the debutants played briliantly , but it was Robyn who won Player of the match , and Holly won the parents player award. 

despite the scoreline, we came away feeling very positive and looking forward to the new season starting.
