U11 Orange - Brinklow Juniors U10 (Juniors)
What a start!
Debuts for Charlie Steele, Issac Townsend, Finley Brown and Sam Shepherd.
We started with high energy and a fast tempo that saw us dominate the first half, some great link up play between the front 4.
Charlie and Sam both made it on the scoresheet and Finley put his nerves to one side (with this being his first competitive game of football) and grew more coonfident the longer he want on the pitch.
We used the wings well with Josh and Brayden providing width and allowing us to get forward, with both lads provided assists for our goals.
Issac, with the exception of a short spell as a sub did not stop running the whole game; battling from the front and causinf the opposition defence real trouble - something which got him the POTM!
2 goals from Theo Emery, a worldie from just over the half way lobbing the keeper for our 4th and capping it off with a deflection for our 5th goal in the dying seconds of the game.
Sleem caps off our list of goalscorers and could've had two with a scissor kick in the style of his dad narrowly glancing wide of the far post.
An intelligent a disciplined partnership forming across the back line between Cameron and Emers and the usual assured display from Jaxon (including a top class save!) saw us only ship the one goal.
A fantastic performance all round from our new look side.
