Girls U12's Lionesses - Crusaders

Tough game today in a reversed fixture due to the wet weather away on a 3G pitch vs Crusaders.

Quite a few key players were unable to attend which made for more game time for the girls.

A tough start saw the opponents race into a 3-goal lead, but we manage to get a foot hold in the game with a formation change which made us more solid up to half time.

We used the power play in the second half which helped us get further up the longest 7 a side pitch I’ve ever seen.

Wasn’t our day today but we never gave up which was pleasing to see. 

Onwards and upwards to our next game !!

Peyton was coaches player of the match for her nonstop running and tackling ! An inspirational midfield display from our captain today !

Parents player of the match went to all the other girls for battling away and not giving up.
